Our newly-extended hotel, the only waterfront hotel in the village,
was built in 1827 as a private house and was once supposedly a ships
chandelry before becoming the local village 'inn' about a hundred
years ago. |

We are only the fourth owners
since 1913 — all the previous owners and their families still
live in the village as, of course, we do ourselves. |
