Head out of the village past the station and |

either: carry straight on to Duirnish, turn right at the bridge through Duirnish and carry on to Kyle of Lochalsh. Follow the sign in the village for the Balmacara road, which you will reach at the traffic lights. Turn left on to the Balmacara road (A87) and head for Dornie, passing through Reraig. Turn right at Auchtertyre, before Dornie, onto the A890 and head up the hill, passing through Achmore on the road to Strome Ferry. |

or: take the first left after the village, onto the road marked Strome Ferry. Continue on the single track road, bearing right at the sign for Duncraig Castle, and carry on by the side of Loch Carron to Strome Ferry. |

Continue past the turning on the left to Strome Ferry, through Strathcarron, on to the junction with A890. Turn right on to the A890 and head for Achnasheen. |

At Achnasheen, turn right on to the A832, heading for Inverness. Continue on through Garve and Contin. |
