  Plockton's Gordon MacKenzie retained his title as outdoor singles bowling champion of Skye & Lochalsh after defeating Kyle's Roddy MacKerlich. The match was played in perfect conditions. A total of 36 persons entered the competition for the cup which was donated by Lochalsh & Skye Housing Association.
Preliminary and Round 1 ties to be completed

Quarter-final ties to be completed by Saturday 13 August.
Semi-final ties & Final to be completed by 3 September.

The final competition of the year resulted in a win for Ann Baughan and Johnny Nicholson. They defeated Kathleen MacRae and Douglas Hamilton in overcast but pleasant conditions. This was the first time this beautiful cup had been played for since having been donated by Gill James and Judith Webster in memory of their father. The cup was presented to the winning pair by club captain Alan James.
