Launch of our Online Gift Store
Plockton natives Malcolm Mackenzie and his sister Sarah McLaughlin, along with business partner David Skilling, have launched the gift retail website HarlemUK.com.
“We launched HarlemUK.com, with an idea to sell a unique mix and range of gifts, which would appeal to a large range of shoppers and bring together a collection of gifts which is often hard to find in one place.
We aim to build our range of products over the coming two years and focus on getting HarlemUK.com to the top of the search engine rankings for gift related search terms such as Gift Ideas, Birthday Gifts etc. This is a daunting task but an achievable one.
Our website has been designed not only to look great, but also to be easy to navigate and use.
We have sourced our products from all over, and stock well known brands such as joseph joseph, black & blum, jimi and Thermos.
Sarah (30) and Malcolm (28) both grew up in Plockton spending seven years at Plockton Primary School, before moving up to the High School in the village. Sarah then went on to study Photography in Glasgow and Malcolm spent several years teaching sailing and skiing before moving to Glasgow.
". . . we both love to come home to Plockton as much as possible, although it is always too short a visit!"
David Skilling (34) is from Alva near Stirling and has a background in Agriculture.
