Our Constitution was last amended by a Special Resolution on 30 October 2024, following unanimous approval at our AGM:

SPECIAL RESOLUTION

Proposed adoption of the updated version of Scottish Government’s model SCIO template.

Substantive changes are as follows:

Clause 4

Inclusion of Port na Eorna in list of settlements

Clause 8.1

Minimum number of members changed from 10 to 20, to enable PDCT to be eligible to make an Asset Transfer Request via Part 5 of Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.

Clause 40.1

Inclusion of additional clause to provide for authorised signatories:

A document shall be presumed to have been signed on behalf of the organisation if it is signed on its behalf by the Chairman or the Vice Chairman or the Secretary and signed by a witness.
